Remember to use the compost bins using the colour codes on top of the boxes. All non-compostable materials should be placed in the proper waste container or taken home as appropriate.
We have a long waiting list for garden plots and there are plenty of spaces on the North Shore that would make excellent gardens. We just need to create the political will to make it happen. Gardens are greener than lawns in so many ways and they provide good natural foods to augment our meals.
